Getting started

What Rederva does, how to set up your first monitor, and what to expect in the first week.

Rederva watches Reddit for conversations where someone is describing the problem your product solves, and where they sound like they are looking for a solution rather than just talking about it.

The shape of it

  1. Describe your product in plain language, and who it is for. This is the only input the rest of the system needs.
  2. Confirm the keywords and subreddits suggested from that description. You can change them at any time, and most people do twice in the first week.
  3. Work the feed. Every candidate conversation is scored 0–100 for buying intent, with the reasoning attached, so a lead takes seconds to judge rather than minutes.
  4. Post replies yourself. Rederva drafts one, grounded in the actual thread. You copy it, edit it, and post it from your own account.

What it deliberately does not do

It never writes to Reddit. No posting, no voting, no messaging, on any plan. That is a permanent product decision rather than a missing feature — automated posting is what gets accounts banned, and a tool that offers it is a liability dressed as a shortcut.

What to expect

Fewer leads than you would like. A well-scoped monitor in an active niche surfaces a handful of genuinely high-intent conversations a week, not dozens a day. If you are seeing hundreds, your terms are too broad and your score floor is too low.

The pages under this section walk through the first monitor in detail.
